These cute little loaves with stumpy legs are the perfect Friend to match just about any pet! Though not as realistic as our full sized custom pet portraits, you can still get a 4-legged resemblance of your pet in miniature felted form. Tiny, stump legs, cute wide set eyes, simplified markings and that pudgey body will all kill you with cuteness. Be prepared: order the coffin.
Stubbins are perfect for keeping you company at the office, taken on traveling adventures or giving as a seriously rad gift. Not just for Corgis: I can felt a shorty/stumped down version of any breed (even cats!).
*Please note Stubbins are only available in the standard standing pose. The custom form asking about pose is for Original Fiber Friends only :)
One of a kind, life-like yet whimsical, sculpture in wool: Fiber Friends are all of these things and as unique as your pet! This listing is for our most realistic felt sculpture which will fit ALL of your pet’s tiny details (and all of their legs). Most measure about 5-6ish inches from nose to rump (if standing). Displaying under a glass cloche is recommended, especially for very fluffy friends. For greatest longevity: do NOT allow your pets or small children to ‘play’ with your new Friend.
Like all my custom work, I will require excellent photographs of your pet in order to most accurately match their markings. Tips on preparing and sending your photos can be found at my FAQ page.
Whether it’s lamb-chop, hedgie, purple octopus or a slab of bacon: if your pet loves it, their Fiber Friend will too. Felting your pet’s favorite toys are some of my favorite projects. No stuffy is too ridiculous for me to miniaturize!
My new children's book is perfect for little skin-puppies who are just learning to count or read and is full of delicate illustrations of Pocket and all her friends around our farm. The rhyming text is simple and sweet, with lots of hungry critters hoping that YOU will figure out how to administer treats into the pages of a book. Each page includes a numeral and written number plus fun details to count as you read from 1 to 12. Corgi lovers of all ages will want to add this little board book to their collection!
Meet the artist
Hi, my name is Miranda! I am an artist, an animal lover and a homesteader living in rural western Oregon. Fiber Friends was born from a union of my illustration style, love for my best friend (a little corgi named Pocket) and my passion for sustainability and fiber arts. I craft each Friend with love and care, and the not-so-occasional bloodied fingertip. Hundreds of clients (over a thousand) have entrusted me to felt their pets since 2012. Meeting each smiling pup via emailed photos brings me great joy.
Whether you are celebrating your new marriage, welcoming your new baby or standing at the foot of the Rainbow Bridge, it is truly my honor and privilege to help you remember your best friend.
