Written and illustrated by Miranda, Inspired by Pocket

 My new children's book is perfect for little skin-puppies who are just learning to count and is full of delicate illustrations of Pocket and all her friends around our farm.  The rhyming text is simple and sweet, with lots of hungry critters hoping that YOU will figure out how to administer treats into the pages of a book. Each page includes a numeral and written number plus fun details to count as you read from 1 to 12. Corgi lovers of all ages will want to add this little board book to their collection!

Turnaround once proofs are approved is estimated at 6 weeks. All books will be shipped media mail within the USA - be sure to choose that shipping option when you check out. International orders may be subject to an additional shipping charge.

A bit more about the inspiration for this book....

I used to volunteer at the local elementary school, reading to and with children of assorted ages. One of the things I noticed was that some children really enjoyed counting things they saw in the illustrations. This sparked an idea to write and illustrate a counting book featuring Pocket and all my other pets and wild animal friends! I'm passionate about literacy and hope this simple book will inspire a love of counting and reading in the newest generation.  This book is also heavily inspired by one of my favorite childhood books: Tasha Tudor's "1 is One." I hope that my traditional media illustrations paired with Pocket's cuteness will bring a smile to your face when you read it.
