My new children's book is perfect for little skin-puppies who are just learning to count or read and is full of delicate illustrations of Pocket and all her friends around our farm. For the kiddos who love to count

I used to volunteer at the local elementary school, reading to and with children of assorted ages. One of the things I noticed was that some children really enjoyed counting things they saw in the illustrations. This sparked an idea to write and illustrate a counting book featuring Pocket and all my other pets and wild animal friends! I'm passionate about literacy and hope this simple book will inspire a love of counting and reading in the newest generation. This book is also heavily inspired by one of my favorite childhood books: Tasha Tudor's "1 is One." I hope that my traditional media illustrations paired with Pocket's cuteness will bring a smile to your face when you read it.
